We at TLV Girlies are working to make our site tlvgirlies@gmail.com accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Standards and guidelines

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including:

 

  • Perceivable: Providing text alternatives for non-text content, ensuring sufficient color contrast, and enabling scalable text.

  • Operable: Ensuring all functionality is available from a keyboard, giving users enough time to read and use content, and avoiding content that causes seizures.

  • Understandable: Making text content readable and predictable, and helping users avoid and correct mistakes.

  • Robust: Maximizing compatibility with current and future user agents, including assistive technologies.

What we're doing

  • Using the Wix platform’s built-in accessibility features (semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, skip-to-content links).

  • Writing clear, concise headings and link text.

  • Adding descriptive alt text to images.

  • Maintaining sufficient color contrast and using scalable fonts.

  • Testing keyboard navigation for all interactive elements.

  • Conducting periodic reviews with automated and manual accessibility tools.

Our commitment

TLV Girlies is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually strive to improve the user experience for everyone, and apply relevant accessibility standards and best practices.

Known limitations

​​Despite our efforts, some content may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA due to third-party integrations or dynamically generated elements. We are actively working with our platform providers and developers to address these issues.
